Guided visits to the Hondo Yakushi-do are available at the times noted below.
Please allow approximately 15 minutes for the visit.
Open Hours : 10:00am - 4:00pm

  • Entrance fee: adults and high school students ¥500; elementary and junior high school students: ¥200
  • *Closed if experiencing extreme weather.
  • *Closed for regular visits during the month of August, 4/27 and 12/20 - 1/7.

From JR Kamakura Station(JO07):
At Terminal No.5 take a bus (鎌20) bound for Kamakura-gu (Daitonomiya). Get off at Daitonomiya (the last stop). A 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

Parking for (free for visitors and parishioners) is available, although the roads from Kamakura station to the temple are extremely narrow. Please drive with care and cooperate with oncoming vehicles.
